Vaccine Alternative for Dogs
A vaccine alternative for Dogs would be Nosodes.
They are a homeopathic preparation. When making nosodes, the virus or bacteria (or a substance that contains or is infected with the disease, such as respiratory discharge or infected tissue) is collected and processed. It is put through a complicated series of dilutions and succussions to increase its potency or to make it homeopathic-ally active. Through the process the raw material used is rendered harmless. No physical trace of the raw material left in the final product – just a highly potent remedy. A nosode created from a disease carries a mirror image or reflection of the disease, or in other words, the “molecular imprint” of it. When the nosode is administered, it sensitizes the immune system and helps it prepare the body for the defense against that same disease.
Homeopathis nosodes, the vaccine alternative for Dogs, work on the principle “let likes be cured by likes”. The point is to match a disease, or in essence its symptoms, to a remedy that when administered will cause the same symptom. This will then strengthen the body’s defense mechanism by helping it on a cellular level to recognize what the disease potentially could look like when it is introduced into the body.
In short, the reason why nosodes, the vaccine alternative for Dogs, work is based on the fact that the immune system is sensitized to the introduced molecular imprint without actually being exposed to the full strength of the living disease.

ALL Natural Dog Food – CHICKEN DINNER
Todays Blog Talk Radio Show covered the list of best to worst dog foods. It is crazy hard trying to fit so much into 15 minutes yet I am concerned that listeners could get bored if I go for 30 minutes. In due time. If I had a conversation going with a caller it would be easier. This will take some time.
So for the record, I wanted to write down my recipe for the chicken dinner that I cook for my six pack of dogs.
Here is what I do:
I whole chicken, defrosted, skin removed, into a pressure cooker that is full with water to the 2/3′s mark. Not more than that. Cutting the up chicken helps even distribution.
Put on the lid and cook until it sizzles. Then at that point turn it down and set a timer to go off in 90 minutes. Could be less time, but depends on the chicken size, the pressure cooker and the size of your flame. I think that this time covers it for sure. The goal is for the bones to be soft enough that when you grap one it can be pinched in your fingers, easily collapsing under pressure. Hence, pulverized bones.
If you want to save some broth, poor it separately into a deep see- through container and place in the frig. Once really cold the fat will rise and harder on the top and you can remove the fat. It is important to NOT FEED CHICKEN FAT to your dog as it will easily upset their system resulting in diarrhea. If I use broth I use ever so little, just for some flavor because I have had diarrhea just too many times.
Now flip the chicken out of the pot into the strainer. Run fresh cold water over it all, rinsing away fat. As it cools start to put your hands through up, shredding the chicken up and crushing all the bones. Mix it all together so you have bones throughout the chicken.
You might take this rather dryish mix of bones and chicken and store it in a zip lock baggy, dividing it up into meals. If you have just one dog, this chicken could last the whole week. I would freeze half of it. Don’t ever feed a mix that is more than 3 days old!! Unless it came from the freezer recently.
Each day, soak a kibble, preferably grain free, for about 30 minutes in enough water to cover all the dry kibble. Grain free kibble is slow to absorb water so be patient. This extra moisture benefits your dogs health. A dogs needs a 70% moisture rich diet. If you are just feeding dry kibble the amount of moisture is roughly 12%. Bad! A dehydrated system will cause eventual organ damage. Could take 3-6 years but will eventually happen.
Now add your chicken mix over the wet kibble. Stir it all together. Feel for bones that are not crushed. A pokey/sharp bone is BAD. Get rid of any bone fragments that are not soft enough.[ In some cases I have turned back on the pressure cooker when i find many hard bone pieces. This means I did not cook it long enough.]
Now ADDTIIONALLY add over the top of your mixed kibble;
Ground Flax Meal by Red mills. About 1 teaspoon per 30 pound dog. Mix in well.
ALSO, Prick an oil capsule of fish oil and squeeze over the whole thing too.

overnight as well as overnight care. He started vomiting again overnight at MedVet and his renal values have continued to increase daily. He produced urine when given lasix as a diuretic. He was on 3 different anti-vomiting medications and they still couldn’t control his vomiting. Today his urine output decreased again, his BUN was over 120, his creatinine was at 10, his phosphorus was very elevated and his blood pressure, which had been staying around 150, skyrocketed to 220 …… He continued to vomit and the owners elected to
Euthanize. This is a very sad case – great dog, great owners who had no idea raisins could be a toxin. Please alert everyone you know who has a dog of this very serious risk.Poison control said as few as 7 raisins or grap es could be toxic. Many people I know give their dogs grapes or raisins as treats including our ex-handler’s. Any exposure should give rise to immediate concern. Onions, chocolate, cocoa and macadamia nuts can be dog poison too.
Why is natural dog care so important to me?
My name is Dr. Marika Zoll. My patients call me Dr. Marika. My 6 dogs (MY SIX PACK) are my surrogate children SEE VIDEO LINK. My SIX Pack And with 6 dogs the chances of a medical emergency or just something going wrong is multiplied by six times normal. Over time I have learned much about alternative solutions to better, natural dog care and fixing emergencies, forgoing an uneeded trip to the vet. In this blog I hope to share with you the many things I have learned over the years to encourage a longer life and a lessened vet bill for my dogs. This knowledge has empowered me. I hope to do the same for you.
Chocolate Dog?
The day began with my dog eating the leftovers of a chocolate Éclair! How much did she eat? How long ago? How much chocolate was in that frosting? In my anxious state, knowing only that Chocolate is BAD for a dog, I knew that I needed to do something. But what exactly? These are the kind of things that a book can tell you on the page, but until you go through it, experience it, feel the emotion associated with the experience, only then will you commit it to memory. I had my guide book, Vet Secrets Revealed. I could very easily look things up in there. Like , how do I make my dog throw up? I knew this, but not the dose by heart. I also know that chocolate is BAD for the dog, but how much is really toxic. Did I need to be worried, or was it just not enough? What I learned will now be committed to memory. We survived the chocolate. But I do feel a need for one place to tell you the whole truth because I could not find it all that way. My Vet Secrets book revealed how to make the dog throw up, the dose and the after ingredient. Another two sites on-line gave me minimal details about chocolate quantity toxicity. The on- line resources said to go to the vet to get a shot to make her throw up. The Vet book doesn’t talk specifically about chocolate, only poisoning in general. So what is the whole story. Theobromine is the stimulant in chocolate that is similar to caffeine. In the worst case scenario you dog can experience problems with the heart and the nervous system, making him terribly sick and in severe cases it could cause death. Different kinds of chocolate have different doses of theobromine. MILK CHOCOLATE ; roughly one square is equal to 1 ounce which has 45 mg of Theobromine. The toxic dose would be at one ounce eaten per pound of body weight. So, if your dog weighs 10 pounds and eats a whole entire candy bar, 10 squares, this is very bad. If your 100 pound dog eats a candy bar, this would be only 1/10th the toxic dose, and hence not so bad. You wouldn’t have to panic. SEMI SWEET chocolate has 260 mg. per ounce. It is toxic for each ounce per 3-6 pound of body weight. So, this is much stronger. A 10 pound dog could only ingest 2 squares (2 oz.) having the same toxicity level of an entire milk chocolate candy bar. BAKERS CHOCOLATE is much stronger yet, containing 450 mg. per ounce, being toxic at only 1 square (1 oz.) per 10 pounds of body weight. COCOA BEANS have 450-1500 mg per ounce. They become toxic at one ounce ingested per 10-33 pounds body weight. If your dog eats chocolate at a lower does than these measurements than probably you will have a dog with digestive upset such that vomiting and diarrhea may occur. This can happen right away or maybe not until the next day.
My suggestions is this: If in doubt do the following two things;
1) INDUCE VOMITING
2) FOLLOW with ACTIVATED CHARCOAL.
Dose the hydrogen peroxide at 1 teaspoon per 10 pounds. Remember the shot you could go to your vet and get? This works splendidly. Dose the dog once. My 30 pound dog got 3 teaspoons (1 tablespoon). Remember that 5ml. is 1 teaspoon. It is easiest to take up in a syringe. They often have ml. measurements on them. Squirt into the back of the mouth. If you don’t have a syringe, soak it up in bread. My dog hated it that way, but I have heard it can work too. If no reaction, dose ONLY 1 MORE TIME, same dose. I have never not had it work for various reasons that I have had to induce vomiting. But if after 2 doses there is no result then I would GO TO THE VET. Optimistically speaking, after the dog throws up, give activated charcoal capsules. I have never been actually able to find a dose on this. I looked everywhere. I have experimented with this. Basically, not any dog has ever had an adverse reaction to any dose I gave. Today I gave 2 capsules. If we use that as a gauge, how about 1 capsule per 15 pounds. Charcoal is entirely NON TOXIC and absorbs, like a sponge, any bad stuff inside the stomach or the intestine. Think of your water filtration system, it is full of charcoal. It removes chlorine from the tap water and will remove other things from your dogs tummy. So, be safe and ALWAYS have Hydrogen Peroxide and Activited Charcoal in your medicine cabinet, with a syringe on standby. Don't let your dog become a "chocolate dog".
Training for Dogs using Positive Reinforcement.
Who is training who in this picture?
In the spirit of training for dogs, it goes on all the time, in all kinds of relationships. Not just you and your dog. How any relationship developed is a result of certain processes that are repeated over time. If your boyfriend or girlfriend always makes a big deal about it when you dress up then you feel more encouraged to dress up. And likewise, if they don't ever give you a compliment when you dress up, then you eventaully loose your zest for dressing up for them. And so might be the truth for you and your dog. Understanding the complexities of training for dogs would be an excellent idea! Read more

Natural Flea Remedies, can they work?
This morning My Six Pack awoke to the not so often phenomena in my house of itchy fanatic scratching. Three out of six are scratching. Those three have a circus of fleas visiting their crotch area. I confess that it crossed my mind to do the easy thing. Buy some front line, momentarily on sale at costco and forget about bugs for 30 days. Then I reminded myself about the hazards of these chemical repellents. Read this wonderful link below for the TRUTH about commercial “spot on” flea killers. They could eventually harm your pet.
